As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. This is an armed and driving position. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and respond promptly to incidents, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability. Requirements

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and manage communications for site access and dispatch personnel as needed throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating appropriate actions and notifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing communications, incidents, and dispatch activity.
  • Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with security-related personnel and monitoring activity reports.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity by maintaining awareness of all monitored areas.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents or issues as required.
