About The Position

Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Dispatch Officer supporting a high-tech aerospace and defense location. From the dispatch center, you will monitor alarms and cameras, coordinate security-related responses, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors to help maintain order and readiness. This is a driving post, so you may also support mobile coverage as needed. Bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

  • Have 3 or more years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at an aerospace and defense location by following site-specific, security-related procedures, policies, and post orders.
  • Operate the dispatch post by monitoring alarms, access control activity, and CCTV and/or other monitoring systems, and by coordinating routine requests and emergency response notifications.
  • Receive, prioritize, and route incoming calls and radio traffic; dispatch patrol officers and/or appropriate resources based on site protocols and current conditions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notification procedures, documenting actions taken, and supporting incident escalation as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site area and operational needs.
