About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Driver Required in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, staying highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and foster a secure atmosphere. This is an armed and driving post. You will play a key role in supporting operations and providing outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Have three or more years of combined law enforcement military or security experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Operate dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related communications within the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Assist in managing access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of all dispatch activities, incidents, and communications.
Collaborate with on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
Support emergency response activities by coordinating with Allied Universal teams and local authorities when appropriate.
