About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Driver Required in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, staying highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and foster a secure atmosphere. This is an armed and driving post. You will play a key role in supporting operations and providing outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

  • Have three or more years of combined law enforcement military or security experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Operate dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related communications within the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Assist in managing access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of all dispatch activities, incidents, and communications.
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
  • Support emergency response activities by coordinating with Allied Universal teams and local authorities when appropriate.
