About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Communications Driver in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and respond to various situations. This armed and driving post involves supporting a secure environment through clear communication and prompt action. Requirements

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license as required.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch station, coordinating with on-site personnel and external agencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for an aerospace and defense environment.
Document and relay information regarding incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activity to appropriate parties promptly and accurately.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and site-specific protocols.
Maintain detailed logs of calls, incidents, and dispatch activity, ensuring information is recorded in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Support security-related operations by dispatching patrols and coordinating emergency response activities as directed.
Assist in the implementation of site-specific security-related procedures and policies, adapting to the unique needs of the location.
