Job Description As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will engage in routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires driving as part of your responsibilities. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
  • Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Observe and report security-related irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel regarding incidents or security-related concerns.
  • Assist in controlling access to the location and monitor for compliance with site-specific protocols.
