Job Description As a Security Officer - Distribution Screening Specialist in Hutchins, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and provide outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items and unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
Work closely with site personnel and visitors to promote a secure environment within the logistics and distribution setting.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.
