Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to maintain compliance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, drivers, and employees with access-related inquiries and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
Support emergency response efforts by following prescribed protocols and coordinating with site management as needed.
Maintain awareness of the logistics and distribution environment to help to deter risks related to theft, trespassing, or other security-related concerns.
