As an Access Control Officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor entrances and key areas, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in, and communicate clearly with employees and guests. You will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, while documenting activity and responding to concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary credentials per site policy, and directing visitors to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry points, screening areas, and access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing timely incident reports and communicating updates to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, loading and/or receiving areas, and parking areas as required by post orders.
