Requirements

  • MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
  • PLEASE COME DRESSED IN BUSINESS ATTIRE CLOTHING.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications for the location, including radio, telephone, and electronic systems, to support security-related operations.
  • Dispatch security-related personnel to incidents and/or locations as required, maintaining clear and accurate records of all dispatch activities.
  • Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures and policies, and coordinate emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing accurate information to both Allied Universal teams and local authorities as needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of all incidents, communications, and dispatch activities for site management and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access through timely communication and coordination.
  • Stay informed of ongoing site activities and potential security-related concerns, relaying pertinent information to Allied Universal personnel and stakeholders.
