About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Operator in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, support routine patrol operations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor radio, telephone, alarm, and/or electronic communications systems, and dispatch appropriate personnel in response to incidents, service requests, and unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to coordinate communications between on-site personnel, supervisors, and/or emergency responders.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch records, activity logs, incident details, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal standards.
  • Support access control, camera monitoring, and other security-related operations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and support orderly site operations.
