Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will also deliver exceptional customer service and communication, playing a key role in maintaining a secure environment. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to receive and dispatch information regarding incidents, personnel, and/or emergency situations at the location.
  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to inquiries and assisting individuals as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and resources.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all communications, incidents, and activities during the shift.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal personnel as required.
  • Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with field officers and relaying information regarding the business and perimeter.
  • Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining awareness of site operations and promptly reporting suspicious behavior or incidents.
