As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor activity, coordinate officer responses, manage phones and radio traffic, and document security-related events with clear, professional communication. You will help maintain a visible presence through smart scheduling and timely support, assisting with access requests and customer service needs. Requirements

  • Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
  • Dispatch and coordinate Allied Universal officers to alarms, incidents, and service requests using radio, phone, and/or computer-aided dispatch systems, maintaining clear communication with property management and first responders as directed.
  • Monitor CCTV, intrusion and fire alarm panels, access control systems, and intercoms, reporting irregular activity and escalating per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with incident documentation, call logs, and shift turnover reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, and help to deter unwanted activity through presence and timely reporting. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
