About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. In this role, you will monitor activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, maintain clear communication with on-site personnel, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities for a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems, and dispatch appropriate personnel to reported incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering key details and relaying accurate information to site personnel, management, and/or first responders.
  • Maintain detailed activity logs, incident records, and dispatch reports, helping to support clear communication and timely follow-up on site events.
  • Coordinate routine and random patrol activity around the property and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and support daily operations across the location.
