About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

Possess 1+ years' law enforcement experience OR 2+ years' Security Supervisor/Manager experience OR 3+ years' Security experience.
Have a college degree.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
2 years of Physical Security Experience
Ability to speak,read, and write the English language fluently.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service and relay information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Respond to incidents and critical situations by dispatching the appropriate personnel, communicating updates, and helping to coordinate security-related response activities.
Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, documenting calls, actions taken, and follow-up information according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, while remaining prepared to support dispatch operations and changing site conditions.
