About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Communications in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. This role combines strong situational awareness with customer service and clear communication while helping to maintain smooth site operations. Requirements

• Must have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor communication systems, receive and relay routine and urgent calls, and coordinate the dispatch of security-related personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by gathering details, documenting activity, and communicating updates to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and other required reports while helping to support security-related operations and continuity of service at the location.
