About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Armed Patrol in Golden, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Monitor the location for suspicious activity, reporting any irregularities or security-related concerns promptly.
Maintain awareness of security-related protocols specific to food and beverage environments, including restricted areas and handling procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate important information regarding incidents or security-related matters.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on all incidents, observations, and patrol activities during each shift.
Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed security-related duties.
