As a Dispatch Officer at a College Campus, you will coordinate security-related response and communications, track officer activity, and support incident reporting with clear, customer-focused service. You will use computer-based systems to log calls, monitor alarms and/or cameras, and help route resources where needed while staying calm under pressure. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, reflecting Allied Universal’s agile teamwork and integrity-first culture.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Operate the dispatch function by monitoring alarms, CCTV, and access control systems, prioritizing calls for service, and coordinating response using phone, radio, and/or other communication tools.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering key details, notifying site leadership and/or public responders as directed, and documenting actions taken.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs and reports, including incident documentation, key control activity, visitor and/or contractor entries, and equipment status updates per site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, checking doors, gates, loading areas, and other critical points, and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
