About The Position

As a Security Officer - Defense Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout an aviation and defense location. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols within the aerospace and defense environment.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related needs and concerns.
Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
Assist with access control and visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
