Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related operations at the entrance. You will help manage access, greet and direct visitors, verify identification, issue and/or monitor badges, and document activity using computer-based tools. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities for a healthcare location.
  • Greet and process visitors, vendors, and contractors; verify identification, issue temporary credentials, and direct guests to appropriate departments while supporting a professional lobby presence.
  • Monitor lobby activity, entrances, and security-related systems such as cameras and alarms, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel to help to deter unwanted behavior.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as directed by post orders.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports, including visitor records, incident documentation, and shift pass-down information, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
