Job Description As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Driver in Melville, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols, being a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, so you will use your valid driver's license to navigate the property as you interact with tenants, visitors, and staff. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
- Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues.
- Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal on site.
- Follow all company protocols and site-specific guidelines during each shift.
- Complete necessary documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
