About The Position

As a Security Officer - CRE Command Center in Leawood, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate security-related calls for service, support officers in the field, and monitor key systems to help identify and report concerns. You will help maintain a visible presence through routine tours and strong communication, while delivering customer-focused service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Operate the dispatch desk by monitoring alarms, cameras, and building systems, coordinating radio and/or phone communications, and assigning officers to calls for service.
• Receive and prioritize incident reports, respond to critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify property management and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Maintain accurate logs and records including dispatch activity, key and badge control, deliveries and contractor check-ins, and incident documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter as required by post orders, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
