As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors, support access points, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team. Requirements

Have 6+ months of security experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have customer service experience preferred.
Have a guard card and/or license preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, property management, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, restrooms, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
Monitor access points and common areas, verify identification and/or access credentials when required, and assist with directing visitors, deliveries, and service providers according to site procedures.
Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations through the appropriate channels.
