You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, control access points, and respond to alarms and service calls. You will assist visitors with directions, communicate clearly with site staff and first responders, and document observations with integrity. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating clearly with site contacts and/or public agency partners as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, access roads, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verifying credentials and directing visitors, staff, and vendors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Complete reports and logs for incidents, patrol activity, and unusual observations, and promptly escalate concerns through the chain of command.
