About The Position

As a Security Officer - Construction Site Patrol in Sunnyvale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas through routine patrols, visibility, and clear reporting to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to employee and visitor needs with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the industrial location, including production areas, warehouses, loading docks, and the perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, and complete required reports such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and maintenance or hazard notifications.
• Support traffic and delivery flow at gates and dock areas by verifying credentials, directing vehicles to designated areas, and helping to maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
