As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering a customer-focused experience. Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access control points such as entrances, lobbies, and restricted areas, verifying credentials and directing individuals according to site procedures.
  • Complete detailed documentation of patrols, incidents, and maintenance or security-related concerns using written logs and/or electronic reporting systems.
