About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist employees and travelers with directions and questions, and communicate clearly with site contacts. Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Hold a CPR certification, preferred.
  • Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
  • Hold a guard card and/or license, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a transportation setting.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, gates, baggage areas, parking, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking credentials, directing visitors, and supporting employee and vendor check-in processes per location policy.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate authorities and/or site leadership as required.
  • Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or the client representative, and maintain a professional presence while supporting daily operations.
