As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet travelers and team members, respond to concerns, document activity, and communicate clearly with site leadership and local partners. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • This is primarily a driving post.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and passengers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a transportation facility.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management and reporting concerns through the proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, concourses, curbside areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter prohibited activity and identify maintenance and/or operational issues.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, checking credentials and/or permissions as required by post orders, and documenting unusual activity in reports and logs.
  • Communicate clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, supporting incident documentation, shift handoff details, and requests for assistance as needed.
