You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
  • Monitor and control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing visitors to the proper location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifying the appropriate personnel, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate observations to on-site contacts, and assist with routine security-related checks such as door, gate, and alarm status verification.
