Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access control and badging, monitor alarms and cameras, and document security-related activity with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures and front desk post orders.
• Monitor and control access at the reception area by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry logs, and notifying site contacts of arrivals.
• Answer phones and route calls, monitor cameras and/or alarm panels as assigned, and document routine activity in daily reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating communications with site leadership and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Support emergency response activities by following site instructions for notifications, muster reporting, and incident documentation.
