About The Position

As a Security Officer - Concierge Driver Full-Time in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must be 21 or more years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Staff the front desk to help manage access control, including greeting visitors, verifying identification, completing sign-in requirements, and issuing temporary visitor badges per site-specific policies.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels, and promptly report irregular activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to de-escalate situations and coordinating with on-site personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete required documentation such as incident reports, visitor logs, and shift activity logs, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
