About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Residential, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate and residential locations, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document observations and support access control as needed. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site contacts and/or public services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout residential and commercial real estate areas, including building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, reporting irregular conditions.
• Control access where assigned by monitoring entry points and checking identification and/or authorization, assisting with visitor management and directing people to the appropriate location.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, using radio and/or phone communications to coordinate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
