As an unarmed, driving patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with tenants and guests, and respond to concerns with a customer-first approach. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with site management and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance concerns or policy issues.
  • Control access to the property by monitoring entrances, checking identification and/or credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, monitor alarms and/or CCTV when assigned, and report hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives.
