As a Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as you maintain a visible presence throughout the property. You will interact with tenants, guests, and staff, addressing concerns with professionalism and supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least six months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, including the business premises and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or incidents found during patrols within the commercial real estate location.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
  • Collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement personnel when necessary to address security-related matters.
  • Assist visitors, tenants, and employees with directions, access, and general information as needed.
