About The Position

As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol Driver in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, conducting regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will navigate the property by vehicle while remaining visible and approachable to provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A guard card or license is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.
Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and attention to site-specific protocols.
Document observations, incidents and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
Collaborate with property management and/or building personnel to address security-related needs.
Remain alert to surroundings and report any unusual conditions or concerns to the appropriate parties.
