About The Position

As a Security Officer - Commercial Dispatch in Leawood, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and respond to incoming calls, alarms, and radio communications in a professional manner from the dispatch center.
Coordinate communication between site personnel, emergency responders, and property management as needed.
Document and report incidents, activities, and any unusual occurrences according to site-specific procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting tenants, visitors, and staff with inquiries and information relevant to the location.
Support security-related operations by maintaining accurate logs and records of dispatch activities.
Assist in emergency response activities by relaying information and instructions to personnel on site.
Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining awareness of site operations and reporting suspicious behavior.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and location management.
