You will greet guests, manage access, monitor lobby activity and cameras, document incidents, and communicate clearly with building teams to help support security-related operations. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have at least 5 years of security experience.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and/or authorization, issue temporary credentials as directed, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery logs.
  • Monitor and control access to the lobby and other controlled areas, helping to deter unauthorized entry through consistent check-in and badge verification practices.
  • Answer phones and route calls, provide general building information as authorized, and coordinate requests with property management and/or building engineering.
  • Operate lobby security-related systems such as access control, intercoms, and/or camera monitoring equipment as assigned, and report irregular activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, alarms, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity, and notify appropriate parties.
  • Document shift activity, incidents, and follow-up actions in written and/or electronic reports with clear, timely, and accurate details.
  • Support tenant services by coordinating after-hours access requests, key and/or credential control processes, and reserved access lists as directed by site procedures.
  • Receive and direct deliveries, manage package holding procedures as assigned, and communicate with recipients and/or building staff per site policy.
  • Assist with emergency communications and tenant notifications, help with orderly lobby flow during building events, and support evacuation and/or shelter procedures as directed by site plans.
