As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols with a primarily driving post, helping to monitor assigned areas, stay highly visible, and report security-related concerns. You will support tenants and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication while using site technology as needed. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, contractors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common areas, parking areas, loading or receiving zones, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical events, and/or property-related issues, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing activity, verifying credentials when required, and documenting visitor and/or contractor activity in logs or systems.
• Complete shift reports and incident documentation, participate in pass-downs, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and/or property management to support daily operations.
