Job Description As a Security Officer - Clinical Patrol Driver in Bartlett, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, so you will use a valid driver’s license to complete patrol coverage and respond to calls for assistance. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Vaccines are required for this hospital site. This post is at a hospital morgue.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • This position requires the ability to restrain individuals.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior corridors, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders as directed.
  • Control access as assigned by monitoring entrances, checking credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in and waiting areas.
  • Complete required documentation such as activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations to supervisors and/or site representatives in a timely manner.
