About The Position

As a Security Officer - Clearance Required Driver in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security experience.
  • Maintain an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at an aerospace and defense location by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access at entry points by verifying identification, coordinating visitor registration, issuing and/or checking badges, and directing individuals to the appropriate areas per site policy.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems; document unusual activity and report concerns through the established chain of communication.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with onsite staff, and supporting arriving responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and/or office areas, and the perimeter, noting security-related concerns, hazards, and maintenance issues in daily reports.
