As an Allied Universal Security Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors. You will support access control, report concerns, and document activity with attention to detail. Requirements

  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Control access at gates, lobbies, and/or vehicle entry points by verifying identification and authorization, processing visitors, and supporting badge and credential protocols as required by the site.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity, and report maintenance, access, and/or policy concerns per site procedure.
  • Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and/or communication systems, document events accurately, and complete required reports, logs, and handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
