About The Position

As a Security Officer - Chemical Site Access in Circleville, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor entry and exit points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment while delivering excellent customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
  • Help to deter unauthorized entry by maintaining a visible presence at entry and exit points.
  • Follow site-specific procedures related to access control in a chemical or petrochemical environment, including adherence to regulatory and client requirements.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related questions and directions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and emergency responders as needed during security-related events or drills.
