About The Position

As a Security Officer - Chemical Site Access in Circleville, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor entry and exit points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Help to deter unauthorized entry by maintaining a visible presence at entry and exit points.
Follow site-specific procedures related to access control in a chemical or petrochemical environment, including adherence to regulatory and client requirements.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related questions and directions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and emergency responders as needed during security-related events or drills.
