As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. Your role involves monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to support site protocols. This is a driving post. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment at the location.
Verify credentials and/or identification of individuals entering or exiting the facility to support compliance with established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures for chemical and petrochemical environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity or conditions and reporting as needed.
Document all activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors to support a secure and orderly environment.
