As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol in Longview, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a chemical and petrochemical location, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering outstanding customer service while communicating with visitors and staff. Requirements

Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols within the location and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor the chemical or petrochemical environment for any unusual activity or potential hazards, reporting findings according to site protocols.
Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a strong security-related presence across the location.
Document observations, incidents, and any actions taken during patrols or in response to incidents in detailed reports.
