As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated chemical or petrochemical locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business premises and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards specific to chemical or petrochemical environments, reporting findings according to site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Follow all required protocols and use required personal protective equipment when patrolling areas where chemicals or petrochemicals are handled or stored.
  • Participate in site-specific training and drills to maintain readiness for emergency response situations.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and activities as required by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
