As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated chemical or petrochemical locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business premises and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards specific to chemical or petrochemical environments, reporting findings according to site protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Follow all required protocols and use required personal protective equipment when patrolling areas where chemicals or petrochemicals are handled or stored.
Participate in site-specific training and drills to maintain readiness for emergency response situations.
Document and report incidents, observations, and activities as required by site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
