As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. Requirements

A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any suspicious activity, incidents, or security-related irregularities according to established procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise in a chemical and petrochemical environment.
Coordinate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Follow site-specific procedures for security-related incidents and access control, adapting to the unique requirements of the chemical and petrochemical location.
