About The Position

As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Wake County, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic government education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public education location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and student activity in accordance with site policies, helping to support orderly operations during arrival, dismissal, and daily activities.
Assist with security-related concerns, follow post orders, and/or support school and administrative personnel during routine operations, special events, and unexpected situations.
