As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere. Your visible presence and proactive approach will support a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order and helping to deter unwanted activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to observe for suspicious activity, unauthorized individuals, and/or maintenance issues.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and site requirements.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry points and verifying identification as required by site policy.
Support evacuation and emergency response procedures by guiding individuals to designated areas and providing information to first responders when needed.
Communicate professionally with students, staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
