Your role will involve conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the school district properties and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Observe and report any irregularities or incidents that may arise during patrols within the education environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or students as needed while performing duties.
Assist in controlling access to school district facilities and help to maintain order during regular operations and/or special events.
Work closely with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns as they arise.
