You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, support access control and badge activity, and complete security-related reports using a computer and/or tablet. With an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will deliver service with integrity, strong communication, and a people-first mindset while helping to reduce incidents across the site. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the proper channels as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, yard, and perimeter, including checking doors, gates, dock areas, and trailer lines to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Control access to the location by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification and/or shipping documentation when required, and directing drivers, visitors, and employees to the proper check-in process.
• Complete security-related reports and logs such as patrol observations, incident documentation, and shift activity, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
