As a Security Officer Bilingual Patrol Driver in City Of Industry, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish is required.
- A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance or access concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or contractor access, and support screening and badging processes in accordance with site protocols.
- Complete routine reports and incident documentation, maintain awareness of facility rules, and communicate clearly with personnel regarding security-related issues, directions, and/or post instructions.
